On behalf the scientific committee, we are extremely happy to disseminate this "Save the Date" for the first “Bast from the Past” conference. This event will be held at Université Bretagne Sud in Lorient, France in next October. Check and pre-book in your agenda! Invited talks will be given by confirmed speakers and a call for abstract will be also launched very soon. Presentations about fine characterization of ancient fibres, for archaeological or material science purpose, use of bast fibre for dating or understanding ancient civilizations practices, will be more than welcome.
